The Katy Elks Lodge recently held a hoop shoot free throw contest.

According to a Katy Elks Lodge press release, "This year’s annual contest provided 150-plus local young people in the age group 9 to 13 the opportunity to take their next step toward Elks National recognition and free throw success. Students winning at local schools were eligible to compete for the right to advance to District competition Feb. 10 at Morton Ranch High School. From there, winners advance to State to Regional and finally to National Finals at Springfield, Mass."
