Seven Lakes grad Jones contributes to Truman State victory
Seven Lakes High School graduate Jaylon Jones scored three points in Truman State's 64-56 win over conference rival Washburn Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Schendel Court at Lee Arena in Topeka, the Truman State website reported.
Jones also recorded one block for the Bulldogs, who improved to 6-9 on the season and 3-4 in the MIAA.
Truman State's next game is 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 at home against Central Missouri.
Jones is a freshman forward for Truman State University. He is a 2012 graduate of Seven Lakes High School in Katy where he won all-district honors. Jones is from Katy.
