Cinco Ranch grad Nwanguma plays in Houston Baptist loss

Cinco Ranch High School graduate Ashleigh Nwanguma contributed two points in Houston Baptist's 71-45 home loss to UT-Pan American on Jan. 19 at UTPA Fieldhouse in Edinburg, Houston Baptist's website reported.
The Houston Baptist University freshman also recorded three rebounds for the Huskies, who are 4-15 on the season and 0-1 in the Great West Conference.
Houston Baptist's next game is 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 on the road against Chicago State.
Nwanguma is a guard for Houston Baptist University. She is a 2012 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, where she was MVP. The psychology major from Katy is the daughter of George and Grace Nwanguma.
