Seven Lakes grad Pinkney helps in SFA win
Seven Lakes High School graduate Trey Pinkney played for Stephen F. Austin State University in its 59-39 win over conference rival McNeese State on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at LC Civic Center in Lake Charles, La., the SFA website reported.
The Stephen F. Austin State University freshman guard recorded oneassist for the Lumberjacks, who improved to 17-2 on the season and 8-1 in the Southland Conference.
Stephen F. Austin State's next game is 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 at Lamar.
Pinkney is a freshman guard for Stephen F. Austin State University. He is a 2012 graduate of Seven Lakes High School in Katy where he was MVP. Pinkney is from Katy.
