Mayde Creek grad Adolph contributes to Schreiner victory
Mayde Creek graduate Colby Adolph contributed four points in Schreiner's 83-59 home win over conference rival Sul Ross State on Thursday, Jan. 31 at Edington Gymnasium in Kerrville, Schreiner's website reported.
The Schreiner University senior forward also recorded nine rebounds for the Mountaineers, who improved to 8-13 on the season and 4-11 in the American Southwest Conference.
Schreiner's next game is 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 at home against Howard Payne University.
Adolph is a 2009 graduate of Mayde Creek High School. She is a senior forward on the women's basketball team at Schreiner University. Adolph was an academic all-conference selection during her junior season (2011-12) with the Mountaineers. Adolph is the daughter of Willie and Tikila Adolph. She is majoring in biochemistry/pre-pharmacy, with a minor in Spanish. Adolph is from Katy.
