Seven Lakes grad Pinkney contributes to SFA win

Seven Lakes High School graduate Trey Pinkney scored one point as Stephen F. Austin State University won 65-51 over conference rival Lamar on Saturday, Feb. 2 at Montagne Center in Beaumont, the SFA website reported.

Pinkney also recorded one steal for the Lumberjacks, who improved to 18-2 on the season and 9-1 in the Southland Conference.

Stephen F. Austin's next game is 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 at home against Central Arkansas.

Pinkney is a freshman guard for Stephen F. Austin State University. He is a 2012 graduate of Seven Lakes High School in Katy where he was MVP. Pinkney is from Katy.
