Cinco Ranch grad Palmer scores 4 points in Rice victory
Cinco Ranch High School graduate Megan Palmer scored four points in Rice University's 61-53 home win over conference rival University of Alabama-Birmingham on Feb. 3, according to Rice University's website.
The Owls improved to 10-11 on the season and 2-6 in the conference. Rice's next game is noon Sunday, Feb. 10 at home against the University of Houston.
Palmer is a freshman forward for Rice University. She is a 2012 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School, where she won the Senior Captain's Award and was active in National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. Palmer is from Katy.
