Humble grad Jackson contributes to Midland victory
Humble High School graduate Darnetta Jackson played for Midland College in a 63-62 win at home over conference rival Howard College on Monday, Feb. 4 in Midland, the team's website reported.
Jackson helped the Chaparrals improve to 19-5 on the season and 7-1 in the Western Junior College Athletic Conference.
Midland College's next game is 5:45 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 at home against South Plains Colleg.
Jackson is a sophomore guard for Midland College. She is a 2011 graduate of Humble High School.
