Three Katy runners complete 21st annual YMCA Bridge Fest 5K

Three Katy athletes completed the 21st annual YMCA Bridge Fest 5K on Saturday, Feb. 2 in Kingwood.

The runners from Katy and their finishing times were Lynn Malloy, 52, 21:43; David Malloy, 18, 25:25; and Erin Malloy, 20, 27:07.

Race organizers said 724 runners finished the 5K race, which began and ended at Lake Houston Family YMCA.

Sergio Rodriguez, of Texas, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 16:48, while Sandie Raines, of Kingwood, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 18:12.
