Seven Lakes grad Pinkney contributes to SFA win
Seven Lakes High School graduate Trey Pinkney scored three points in the 77-67 home win by Stephen F. Austin State University over conference rival Oral Roberts University on Saturday, Feb. 9 at Johnson Coliseum in Nacogdoches, the team's website reported.
Pinkney also recorded two rebounds, six assists and two steals for the Lumberjacks, who improved to 20-2 on the season and 11-1 in the Southland Conference.
SFA's next game is 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14 at Nicholls State.
Pinkney is a freshman guard for Stephen F. Austin State University. He is a 2012 graduate of Seven Lakes High School in Katy where he was MVP. Pinkney is from Katy.
