Cinco Ranch grad Palmer plays in Rice loss
Cinco Ranch High School graduate Megan Palmer contributed nine points in Rice University's 53-51 home loss to conference rival the University of Houston on Sunday, Feb. 10 at Tudor Fieldhouse in Houston, Rice University's website reported.
The Rice University freshman forward also recorded five rebounds and one assist for the Owls, who are 10-12 on the season and 2-7 in the Conference USA.
Rice University's next game is 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14 on the road against Tulane University.
Palmer is a 2012 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School, where she won the Senior Captain's Award and was active in National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. Palmer is from Katy and is the daughter of John and Patty Palmer.
