Houston homebuilder to build homes in Cabo
Kickerillo Companies, a homebuilder who has been working exclusively in the Houston area, is preparing to build its first homes outside the United States in the Cabo Riviera Resort.
Kickerillo Companies is being designated the preferred builder of luxury homes in Cabo Riviera, a resort in Baja California. After studying the area's market, the company decided that it provided a unique value to clients because of its price and location.
"While this project will be our first luxury home build outside Greater Houston, it's a natural fit for us as a high-end homebuilder," Vincent Kickerillo, CEO of the company, said in a press release. "We've built more than 15,000 custom, luxury homes in over 30 Houston-area communities since 1957."
The homes being built in Cabo will range from 3,500 to 15,000 square-feet and are expected to sell for between $1.5 and $25 million. The community will consist of 330 single-family lots on 11 harbor islands with an additional 42 oceanfront lots. Kickerillo Companies is committed to preserving the ecological landscape of the area, and the construction will not make use of asphalt, over-ground electric lines or over-land phone lines, according to the release.
So far, sites for the first homes have been decided upon and designs are done, with construction expected to being in early March. Kickerillo is planning on opening two satellite offices in Los Angeles, California and Cabo to support marketing efforts.
Kickerillo Companies is at 1306 S. Fry Blvd., Houston.
