Katy runner completes Piney Woods 50K Trail Run

Katy runner Travis Duncan completed the Piney Woods 50K Trail Run on Saturday, Feb. 9 in Houston.

Duncan finished in 5:45:18.

Race organizers said 19 runners finished the 50K race, which began and ended at Lake Houston Park.

Kevin Pool, of Houston, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 3:59:39, while Vicky Cook, also of Houston, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 4:16:34.
