Four Katy runners complete Piney Woods 10-Mile Trail Run

Four Katy athletes completed the Piney Woods 10-Mile Trail Run on Saturday, Feb. 9 in Houston.

The runners from Katy and their finishing times were Jacob Borgerson, 1:36:52; Erin Engels, 1:36:52; Andy Kennedy, 1:55:26; and Stacy Sarraga, 2:34:24.

Race organizers said 94 runners finished the 10-mile race, which began and ended at Lake Houston Park.

Will Young, of Nacogdoches, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 1:02:32, while Leighann Ganzar, of Houston, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 1:13:54.
