Morton Ranch grad Foster scores 9 points in Santa Clara victory
Morton Ranch High School graduate Kevin Foster scored nine points in Santa Clara University's 61-52 home win over conference rival University of San Diego on Feb. 14, according to Santa Clara's website.
The senior guard also recorded two rebounds, one assist and one steal for the Broncos who improved to 18-8 on the season and 6-5 in the West Coast Conference.
Santa Clara's next game is 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at home against Pepperdine University.
Named one of Texas' top 30 recruits, Foster played at Morton Ranch for coach Corey Palmer from 2004 to 2008. His senior year, Foster was named MVP and All-District 18-5A First Team.
