Seven Lakes grad Jones helps in Truman State victory
Seven Lakes High School graduate Jaylon Jones scored four points for Truman State University in its 72-60 home win over conference rival Southwest Baptist University on Thursday, Feb. 14 at Pershing Arena in Kirksville, Mo., the Truman State website reported.
Jones also recorded three rebounds for the Bulldogs, who improved to 8-14 on the season and 5-9 in the MIAA.
Truman State's next game is 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21 at home against Lindenwood.
Jones is a freshman forward for Truman State University. He is a 2012 graduate of Seven Lakes High School in Katy where he won all-district honors. Jones is from Katy.
