Cinco Ranch grad Palmer plays in Rice loss
Cinco Ranch High School graduate Megan Palmer scored two points in Rice University's 61-45 loss to conference rival Tulane University on Thursday, Feb. 14 at Devlin Fieldhouse in New Orleans, the Rice website reported.
Palmer also recorded three rebounds, one assist and two steals for the Owls, who are 10-13 on the season and 2-8 in the C-USA.
Palmer is a freshman forward for Rice University. She is a 2012 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School, where she won the Senior Captain's Award and was active in National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. Palmer is from Katy and is the daughter of John and Patty Palmer.
