Mayde Creek grad Adolph contributes to Schreiner victory
Mayde Creek High School graduate Colby Adolph scored four points in Schreiner University's 71-56 home win over conference rival Hardin-Simmon on Saturday, Feb. 16 at Edington Gymnasium in Kerrville, the Schreiner website reported.
The senior forward also recorded two rebounds and one steal for the Mountaineers, who improved to 9-16 on the season and 5-14 in the American Southwest Conference.
Adolph is a 2009 graduate of Mayde Creek High School. She is a senior forward on the women's basketball team at Schreiner University. Adolph was an academic all-conference selection during her junior season (2011-12) with the Mountaineers. Adolph is the daughter of Willie and Tikila Adolph. She is majoring in biochemistry/pre-pharmacy with a minor in Spanish. Adolph is from Katy.
