Katy Essential Tremor Support Group to hold special meeting March 14

The Katy Essential Tremor Support Group will hold a special meeting in honor of National Essential Tremor Awareness Month at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 14 at the Heritage Grand Clubhouse in Katy.

The meeting will feature guest speaker Joy Davis.

According to the organizers, "Davis was born in Ghana, a country with few opportunities for women. Her grandmother, who suffered from Essential Tremor, taught her to work with beads at an early age."

The Heritage Grand Clubhouse is at 25125 Heritage Grand Circle.
