Seven Lakes grad Jones plays in Truman State win
Seven Lakes High School graduate Jaylon Jones played for Truman State University in an 81-74 win over conference rival Lincoln on Feb. 23 at Pershing Arena in Kirksville, Mo., the Truman State website reported.
Jones helped the Bulldogs improve to 9-15 on the season and 6-10 in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Truman State's next game is 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27 at University of Central Missouri.
Jones is a freshman forward for Truman State University. He is a 2012 graduate of Seven Lakes High School in Katy where he won all-district honors. Jones is from Katy.
