Cinco Ranch grad Palmer scores 6 points in Rice victory
Cinco Ranch High School graduate Megan Palmer scored six points in Rice University's 71-61 home win over conference rival Marshall University on Feb. 24, according to Rice's website.
The Rice University freshman forward also recorded five rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks for the Owls who improved to 12-14 on the season and 4-9 in the C-USA.
Rice's next game is 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28 on the road against the University of Texas-El Paso.
Palmer is a 2012 graduate of Cinco Ranch High School where she won the Senior Captain's Award and was active in National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. Palmer is from Katy.
