Christus St. Catherine Hospital launches new emergency care service
Christus St. Catherine Hospital launched a new emergency care service designed to provide fast, full-service care for minor illnesses and injuries while eliminating lengthy emergency room wait times, it was recently announced.
According to a press release from Christus St. Catherine Hospital, "Fast Track Minor Emergency Care, located within the Christus St. Catherine Hospital Emergency Room, at 701 S. Fry Road, provides emergency care for conditions such as the flu, allergies, sprains, and minor cases of broken bones, infections and wounds. Fast Track patients are seen within 15 minutes and most patients will be treated and on their way within one hour. The service is available seven days a week from 11 a.m.-11 p.m."
"Christus St. Catherine Hospital created Fast Track in response to growing demand for emergency care at accredited hospitals," Dr. Patrick Charbonneau, the Emergency Department Medical Director at CHRISTUS St. Catherine Hospital, said in the release.
