514 Katy runners complete ConocoPhillips Rodeo 10K Run

A total of 514 Katy athletes completed the ConocoPhillips Rodeo 10K Run on Saturday, Feb. 23 in Houston.

The top runners from Katy and their finishing times were Rogelio Horacio Pena, 39, 36:40; Magnus Berg Sletfjerding, 15, 36:40; Casey Lajaunie, 36, 39:01; Adam Daniels, 33, 39:53; Hugo Gonzalez, 15, 40:18; Marne Shafer, 32, 41:03; Jason Mazoch, 31, 41:33; Hugo Bello, 32, 42:07; Russell Sollock, 40, 42:33; Michael John Heffernan, 44, 43:08; Carl Laneri, 30, 43:24; Conor Michael Hallisy, 31, 43:25; Blake Holiday, 34, 43:46; Victor M. Four hundred seventy-four other local runners also completed the race.

Race organizers said 6,299 runners finished the 10K race, which began and ended in downtown Houston.

Sammy Kiplagat, of Glen Dr, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 30:37, while Mary H. Davies, of Houston, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 32:53.
